Club Mountain Bikes

If you don’t have a bike and would like to give mountain biking a go, the Karratha MTB Club has a small fleet of loan bikes available.

LOAN BIKE INFORMATION/CONDITIONS

> Maximum loan time is 14 days

> Photo ID (preferably a Drivers License) required when picking up the bike

> You will be required to supply your own accessories such as bike helmet, gloves, lights, bike lock, etc

> At the very minimum a helmet must be worn at all times when riding a Club mountain bike

> Bike theft is a problem in Karratha. We ask that the bike be locked up and secure at all times while on loan

> Bikes must be returned washed

> Any theft or damage to the hire bike rendering it unsafe or inoperable is the responsibility of the person who has signed for it and is responsible the cost associated with repairing the damage

1 x Giant Trance (Large)
1 X Giant Anthem (Medium)
1 x Giant Stance (Small)
1 x Specialized Rumor (Medium - Ladies bike, more compact frame)
2 x 24” Giant XTC (Hard tail kids bike)

CLUB EVENT LOAN BIKE RESTRICTIONS

During Karratha MTB Club Championship events, if the person loaning the bike does not intend to participate in the event they may be asked to return the bike for the event.

CLUB BIKE HIRE FEES

In order to ensure that Club loan bikes are maintained to a trail-ready standard, the Club charges a nominal fee for bike hire as follows:

$20 per week - Registered Club Members

$50 per week - Non-Club Members

Please note that during the Karratha 6 Hour event bikes will only be available for loan to persons who have entered the event.
