Our Story
The Karratha MTB Club (formerly Burrup MTB Club) was established in 1998 and is the home of day/night mountain bike riding in Western Australia.
The Club is dedicated to maintaining a network of trails in and around Karratha and running an annual schedule of day/night races and social events for members and guests.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make mountain biking in the Pilbara inclusive, exciting and accessible for all riders, regardless of your bike, abilities or experience.
Our Committee
The Karratha MTB Club Committee consists of mountain bikers who are passionate about the sport and the unique day/night mountain bike riding format designed specifically to reduce the impact of the hot conditions experienced in the Pilbara. To see our Committee Members click here.

The Karratha MTB Club acknowledges Ngarluma people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we ride. As we ride, we do so with respect for the land and it's people, and with a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage that surrounds us.
Gold Medal Accredited Club
The Karratha MTB Club is a Good Sports Gold Medal accredited sporting club demonstrating sound principles in liquor licensing, function & bar management, alcohol management in junior club environments, tobacco/vaping management, safe transport, mental health and illegal drugs management.
